I use Dri Wash ultra ion on my high performance glider which has a 17 year old gel coat finish. I apply the spray, rub the surface clean with the terry cloth, and buff off the entire glider with the micro fiber to a glassy finish one to two times a year. I apply it to the leading edges of the wings and tail to wipe the bugs off after each flight. It is so fast and easy to use, and it makes the ship look like new. People can not believe the glider is as old as it is.
I did not think that I could be any happier with this product, until I tried it on the black greasy underbelly of my airplane. I had tried all the recommended degreasers, including the toxic ones, and after hours of scrubbing, I still had a mess under the plane. So I tried the Dri Wash Ultra Ion. Just as with the glider, it was easy, non toxic, and I had spectacular results! My white painted aluminum airplane underbelly is as white and shinny as the rest of the plane!
Since it is so easy to use, if the surface is greasy black, don't try to get it all off on the first pass and change out the terry cloths when they turn gray, then just buff off with the micro fiber. It really is magical.
To balance this testimonial, I did find that the ultra ion will not remove tree sap or hard water deposits off of gel coat. So do not throw your power buffer and hard wax away. You just will not need them very often.
Bob Hamilton has provided excellent service and advice over the years and does his best to reduce shipping cost by using multiple shipments as needed. I highly recommend Mr. Hamilton and Dri Wash Ultra Ion for all your valued vehicle finishing needs.
